Ken Burns, PT, OCS
Ken Burns, physical therapist and founder, earned his Kinesiology/Exercise Science Bachelors degree in 1990 and Physical Therapy degree in 1992 at California State University, Northridge. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Ken has completed numerous post-graduate orthopedic and sports medicine courses, including the year-long Kaltenborn/Evjenth manual therapy course in Folsom, CA and Osteopathic manual therapy at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. His physical therapy philosophy has evolved with over 20 years of learning to be an eclectic approach to treatment and prevention of injuries.
His interests include cycling on the road and dirt, playing guitar, spending time with his wife, Rose, and the sporting life of our son, Trevor.
Rose Chao-Burns, PT
Rose has defined her clinical skills for 15 years at Mills Health Center in San Mateo, CA, where she specialized in orthopedic and aquatic therapy. She received her Health Education degree and Physical Therapy degree from California State University, Northridge in 1992.
She has attended numerous post graduate orthopedic physical therapy courses, including the year long Australian manual therapy course in Hayward, CA. Her style of manual therapy is diverse, and she thrives on creating dynamic exercise programs with her patients.
Outside of working in the clinic, Rose enjoys volunteering at the school where her son attends, St. Charles. She appreciates being outdoors, reading, cooking and partaking in retail therapy.
Jennifer joined us in January 2015 having over 10 years of administrative and customer service experience. Jennifer enjoys volunteering her time to several causes in San Mateo County. She is the mother of a very active toddler who keeps her on her toes along with her three dogs. Jennifer enjoys going to the beach, hiking, gardening and spending time with family.
